What is PU Leather?

PU leather is an abreviation of polyurethane leather,it's also known as bicast leather or split leather. Its an artificial leather made of thermoplastic polymer and it's used for making furniture, shoes, bags and wallets. It is considered vegan and eco-friendly. The polyurethane leather is made to look and feel like real leather. It was originally made for the shoe industry, but it was then adapted into other fields like furniture and bags & wallets industry.

Is it really vegan?

Every year more than a billion cows, pigs, goats, sheep, alligators, ostriches, kangaroos, and even dogs and cats are cruelly abused and slaughtered for their skins. For this reason we chose PU leather as the best alternative of real leather without hurting any animal. PU leather is totally vegan because it's a mix of different artificial chemicals.

Therefore we enourage the modern community to always go for products that are entirely made of PU leather since it avoids the suffering and death of animals because of the leather production.

what about the Quality ?

Polyurethane is very durable. It lasts a very long time and usually does not crack or wear down easily. The overall durability and quality is quite good and actually way more better compared to most faux leather alternatives. But that is what it is originally made for – being very tough and long lasting.
